You first get better in your head

WHY?
You are playing your most important tournament yet. The first action should actually take away your nervousness and give you the necessary security that will carry you through the tournament. But the action fails completely. You know you should check them off. Nevertheless, there is only this one thought in your head: “What if the next action doesn’t work either”? It happens as it has to happen: further actions also fail.
What now?Can you write off the tournament now? Why do you even get into this situation? There are seven typical reasons for this phenomenon. The most common reason is the routine handling of pressure and nervousness. You can often see that professional athletes can get out of similar situations and turn a game around.

Good performance
from training in competition

FOR WHAT REASON?
The competition begins and you are in top shape. You have a good run and are highly motivated. But suddenly nothing works anymore. You can't really get into your competition anymore. You're nervous, you lose concentration and now the mental drama begins. In order to clear your head and get back into competition, you need a plan.

With us you will train how you can transfer good performance from your training into competition conditions. You will learn to master tools that successful professional athletes use. You increase your physical performance, learn to control emotions andinternalize how you can achieve full performance in competition through mental simulation in training.

Recommendations are the best reference

"ChampCamp meets Mindway - Winning in your head. We were able to actively convince ourselves of this in an internal training course with Antje and Paul. Since 2002 with the surprise winners Hikel/Polte at the German Beach Volleyball Championships and at the latest with Kira and Laura's Olympic victory in Rio 2016 Mental coaching is an important factor in beach volleyball.
If you don't believe in the impact and success, we can only recommend a workshop with Antje or Paul.
You can quickly experience the positive effects of conscious action and use them to your advantage in your own playing ability.
We would like to thank the two speakers for the insight into their professional work,
which of course also flows into our training from time to time! "

Mental strength

The difference almost always lies in the ability to carry good performance from training into competition. For example with a new focus or one mental reboot. We will work with you to develop Plan B for situations in which things do not go as planned in order to refocus your attention positively:

Self-assessment

Own strengths

Action plans

Resilience

concentration

A competition can be quite long. Internal and external factors always influence you. Every action requires maximum concentration. In order to be able to access this in competition, it is necessary to train your concentration in training and everyday life:

Attention directing

Systematic concentration training

Flow

Work-life balance

Rest & relaxation

Motivation

Athletes are generally motivated. But there is more to motivation than mere will. Every athlete wants to win. But: How do you win? It is important to be able to assess your own performance well in training and competition. You will learn with us what else is involved:

Self-motivation

Dealing with defeats

Success monitoring

Environmental analysis

Rest and relaxation

I am Paul

Trainer, coach and volleyball player

Sport is my life. For as long as I can remember, it's been about getting better. Even faster. Even stronger. But success is much more. Mental strength. Resilience. External circumstances. As a coach, I got to know many athletes. The most successful have continuously worked on themselves. Physically, but above all mentally. This is where the good athletes separate from the excellent ones. I can show you how.
